In wake of the strong earthquake in New Zealand on 14 November 2016, the High Commission has constituted the following disaster management committee to assist Pakistani nationals in case of any need:

All Pakistani nationals resident in New Zealand may wish to contact relatives at home to let them know that they are safe.

Pakistani nationals resident in New Zealand are also advised to continue to follow the instructions of the New Zealand civil defense authorities by accessing the New Zealand Ministry of Civil Defence and Emergency Management website at www.civildefence.govt.nz.
