Resumption of Consular Services

We are resuming Consular services from Monday 21st March 2022.

After suffering a major COVID outbreak at the High Commission our staff has gradually started to come back to work as their individual isolation periods end. After clearing the backlog this week, we will be ready to welcome visitors from coming Monday i.e. 21st March 2022.

However please note the following before you visit:

1. Please book an appointment prior to your visit.

2. Only those whose presence is required will be allowed inside the High Commission.

3. Wearing a mask and maintaining 2m distance is mandatory.

4. No handshakes or hugs please.

5. If you have symptoms please stay at home.

We are grateful to our staff especially the Consular Officer for taking calls and answering queries even during the most serious bouts of illness. Our usual phone lines are now working. Email is still the best option to get a quick response.

We are also grateful to the community for its understanding and support during this time. We thank all those who showed concern and sent us well wishes.
