Dr. Mudassir Anwar from New Zealand nominated for Foreign Minister's Honours List

On 13 August 2020 the Foreign Minister of Pakistan Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi honoured 86 Overseas Pakistanis from the world over for contributing to combating the Covid-19 Pandemic.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Mudassir Anwar, who is a researcher based in Dunedin, was one of those nominated by the FM for developing a COVID19 assessment tool called "Your COVID19 Risk" to alert New Zealanders of future COVID19 risks. He did not only adapt the tool in New Zealand but also chaired the group undertaking this work in Pakistan. The Foreign Minister recognised Dr. Anwar's work and thanked him for his services to the humanity.
