High Commissioner hosted Parliamentary Friendship Group

The High Commissioner H.E. Murad Ashraf Janjua hosted a reception for the members of New Zealand-South and South East Asia Parliamentary Friendship Group at Pakistan House, which was attended by the Co-chairpersons MP Melissa Lee and MP Greg O'Connor, Minister for Transport and Deputy Leader of the House Hon. Michael Wood, MP Marja Lubeck Labour and MP Dr Anae Neru Leavasa.

The High Commissioner briefed the MPs on Pakistan-New Zealand relations and exchanged views on important issues including trade, which despite the challenges posed by COVID-19 pandemic has increased between the two countries.

On the occasion a short video on the beautiful landscape of Pakistan was shown to the guests.
