Pakistan Food Festival

The opening of ‘Pakistan Food Festival’ was held on 13 March 2014 at the James Cook Hotel. The festival will continue till 23 March 2014. Member of Parliament and Assistant Speaker, Mr. Ross Robertson who is also Chairman of New Zealand-Pakistan Parliamentary Friendship Group inaugurated the event. A large number of guests representing Members of New Zealand Parliament, Ambassadors / High Commissioners along with spouses, diplomats, dignitaries, New Zealand government officials and members of Pakistani community from Wellington, Auckland and other places attended the ceremony.

Besides tasting of Pakistani cuisine the festival includes display of Pakistan’s art scene in the form of prints of Master Painters of Pakistan, and posters showing Pakistan’s heritage, places of interests and culture.

Pakistan food festival is a good opportunity to savour Pakistani cuisine.
