Pakistan Food Festival and Fashion Show

The High Commission organized a Pakistan Food Festival at James Cook Grand Chancellor in Wellington on 31 July and 1 August 2015. Mr. Mark Mitchell, Member of Parliament who is also Chairman of New Zealand Parliament’s Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee inaugurated the event.

A large number of guests representing New Zealand Parliament, Ambassadors/High Commissioners along with spouses, diplomats, New Zealand government officials and members of Pakistani community attended the festival. The highlight of the event was a Fashion Show of Pakistani traditional dresses by a Pakistani Kiwi Company “Seasons by Zahabia” which was greatly admired by the audience.
