H.E. Mian Afrasiab Mehdi Hashmi Qureshi, High Commissioner of Pakistan to New Zealand, has presented his credentials to H.E. Lieutenant General The Rt Hon Sir Jerry Mateparae, GNZM, QSO, KStJ, Governor General of New Zealand, in an impressive ceremony at the Government House on 1 June 2016.

In his welcoming statement, the Honorable Governor General conveyed his best wishes to the Pakistani leadership and warmly welcomed the new High Commissioner and his family to New Zealand.

The High Commissioner reciprocated the warm sentiments and assured that he would continue to work towards further strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and New Zealand.
