Gathering to Express Solidarity with Kashmir (30 August 2019)

The High Commission for Pakistan observed Kashmir Solidarity Hour on 30 August 2019 from 12:00 to 12:30 PM to show solidarity with the Kashmiri people. While carrying placards, posters and flags of Pakistan and Kashmir, the High Commission’s staff members came out to the main gate of the Chancery where passersby could see them lodging protest in a peaceful manner.

On this occasion, H.E. Dr. Abdul Malik, High Commissioner underlined the resolve of Pakistan government that it would continue supporting the just cause of the Kashmiri people for their right of self-determination in accordance with the UN Charter and the relevant UNSC resolutions. He mentioned that observing the solidarity hour was meant to send a strong message to the Kashmiri people that the whole Pakistani nation stands behind them.
